Hey everybody! I'm new to the boards and to the hobby.

I'm here collecting information and doing research. My aim is to know as much as possible so that when I do start my tank and get a few crayfish, I'll be doing it the "right way."

I'm familiar with cycling, I've briefly gone through the dif. species of crayfish, and I'm mostly getting into how to care for them..

I'm probably going to consult my local tropical fish store when I start the cycling process but if anyone is local (Los Angeles), I'd love to check out your crayfish up close..
and get a cup full of your already cycled water..

I'm an easy going college student who has recently become captivated by these fascinating critters so feel free to drop me a PM!
